Who We Are

WE ARE MOTHERS, FATHERS, SISTERS AND BROTHERS. WE ARE MEN AND WOMEN, CHILDREN AND ADULTS. WE ARE FAMILY, WE ARE COMMUNITY. WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF STRENGTH AND SELF RESILIENCY.

Our Story

In underserved communities, inequities are interconnected. This means that the solutions we create to address those inequities must also be interconnected. Founded in 2006, Men and Women United for Youth and Families is a nonprofit community organization with a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of the residents of Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties, NC.

Our mission is to promote education, resource awareness and to provide services to assist in creating independent and self–sufficient youth and families in our community. We believe that each family is the driving force behind their own success. Our programs assist, enrich, and enlighten each family member with valuable resources and educational opportunities to enhance the quality of their lives.
